We had a great Christmas! We got kindles from my parents and hung out with J's family on Christmas day. Here's a picture of me and J's niece Natalie.
A few days later we got this really cool wedding/christmas present from Josh, Klee, and Rosy! I love it!!!!
Apparently I'm going to be just like my mom and dad who have trouble remembering the exact date of their anniversary because I totally panicked when I thought it had the wrong date on it!!! I quickly remembered it was right though. I think this was because I initially picked the day before this (not knowing that would have been my parent's anniversary), but it didn't work out so we had to move to this date.
This weekend was my friend Megan's birthday. She wanted to go roller skating so her mom, her friend, Megan, and I all went roller skating. I was worried at first, but apparently it's like riding a bike and got the hang of it again quickly! Here are a few pictures from my phone of us.
We are actually in need of some prayers. We have an opportunity coming up that would be just awesome if it worked out. I can't elaborate on it yet, but as soon as I'm able I will post about it! Please pray that doors will open and decisions will be made in our favor so that we can have the chance to accept this opportunity!

Justin's Niece
This weekend we went to a company picnic with Justin's mom's work. J's niece Natalie (2 1/2) went along and J took some really good pictures of her playing. I guess he's practicing for kids of his own someday!! :) The dog in the pictures is his dog from his parent's house.
Mum's the Word
Justin took the time this weekend to take pictures of some of mum's in our backyard. He took some good ones!

My first race
I signed up to run my first 5K today. It was 3.11 miles and I have never run that far without stopping before. I did pretty good I think. My friend who runs marathons told me to shoot for 40 minutes, and I made it in 36. The person who won the race ran it in 16 minutes...guess I have more training to do!! The race was to "stamp out hunger in dayton" and was hosted by Panera Bread. After the race we got free sandwiches and bagels from there which really hit the spot! J came along to take some pictures for me.
