So...if you know me, you know that I have a dolphin/whale OBSESSION!!!! On our honeymoon we decided the one thing we were going to splurge on was getting to swim with the dolphins. The experience was AWESOME! We got 40 minutes in the water with the dolphins, and when I say with the dolphins I mean I was literally touching a dolphins the entire 40 minutes. They set you up and you take pictures with the dolphins and they even offer a dvd of the experience for you. If someone is taking their pictures with the dolphin, then they have another dolphin swimming through everyone who is waiting. We even got to give the signals for the dolphins to do tricks. Here are a few of the pictures we took. J's pictures are GREAT and you can tell he was having a blast, but my pictures are not so great. If you watch the video (which I haven't figured out how to load yet) you can tell I'm having fun, but for some reason I'm always making scared faces in the pictures. I was very worried about kicking the dolphins, but I guess they are probably used to that...
There are pictures of our group standing in the water...this is where we are standing in about 4 feet of ocean water on a ledge covered in sand. When it is time to do your tricks (kiss a dolphin, a dolphin handshake, riding on the belly, etc.) you swim out to the deep section.
On another, completely unrelated note: I'm very excited to spend some time with Nichole and Bryant this weekend!!! It's been an entire year since I've seen Nichole which is the longest we've ever gone without seeing each other in our entire lives!!!!!!!
